I don’t have a ton of data to draw from here, but my understanding is that quarterbacks are starting to be a more common occurrence, so maybe they’re getting a bit more time with their team.
But this also means that a new starting quarterback is coming off a season where they started well and ended on a tear.
I’d like to see a lot more QB play in the postseason.
Maybe that’ll happen in the next few years.
So that’s how it should go.
If you think of it this way, a new quarterback will start the season with a better team than he did the year before.
I think it’s a lot better than that.
